HOW TO MEDITATE

With the hectic pace and demands of modern life, many people feel stressed and over-worked. It often feels like there is just not enough time in the day to get everything done. Our stress and tiredness make us unhappy, impatient and frustrated. It can even affect our health. We are often so busy we feel there is no time to stop and meditate! But meditation actually gives you more time by making your mind calmer and more focused. A simple ten or fifteen minute breathing meditation as explained below can help you to overcome your stress and find some inner peace and balance.
Meditation can also help us to understand our own mind. We can learn how to transform our mind from negative to positive, from disturbed to peaceful, from unhappy to happy. Overcoming negative minds and cultivating constructive thoughts is the purpose of the transforming meditations found in the Buddhist tradition. This is a profound spiritual practice you can enjoy throughout the day, not just while seated in meditation.

HOW TO GET HAPPY WHEN YOU'RE SAD

Everyone can feel a bit down and sad sometimes, and it totally stinks. Here are some ways to cheer up.

Remember that sadness will eventually go away if you think positively.

1. Call up a friend to talk about it (or to get your mind off it).
2. Watch a funny movie, preferably one that you've already seen and liked.
3. Exercise! Go for a walk, a jog, or a bike ride. Doing this will make your body release endorphins and adrenaline through your body which will make you feel better physically and emotionally.
4. Be spontaneous. Sometimes a consistent and boring routine can make you feel bad. Do something out of the blue, but don't make any rash decisions.
5. Paint a picture. Express your feelings with color and shapes.
6. Think about good memories. If you've lived through them once, than you can definitely have them again. Just because things may seem bad right now doesn't mean that tomorrow they will be.
7. Take a shower. You will feel happier and refreshed.
8. Get out of the house! The fresh air will make you feel better. Go somewhere with a friend, a family member, or even by yourself. See a movie, shop, go on a picnic, etc. Staying inside is like trapping yourself inside your depression.
9. Listen to music. Don't listen to sad music–try listening to energetic tunes or a song that inspires you or reminds you of good times.
10. Have a good cry. Sometimes the sadness stays inside your head if you try to force yourself to be happy. Try to let the tears out at the most appropriate time, mainly the best time when you are alone. Do this, and you might feel more relieved of your sad feelings, as if it "got off your chest".

Put your feelings into perspective. Is what you're upset about really as important as you think? Did it seem to heavily affect more on yourself than those around you? If you sulk about little problems, like not receiving a perfect grade or spilled milk, then you're going to feel sad a lot more easily. Not all of your problems require you to use your head, especially not ones that are very serious like the loss of a loved one. If you use reason to cheer yourself up, chances are you'll feel a lot less stressed.
12. Sometimes taking a nap might make you feel better! Try it and have a good, long nap!!!

Welcome to happy life

Salam Bahagia "and be Happy"

Ini adalah tulisan perdana saya yang berhubungan dengan pola pola hidup yang seimbang dan harmonis menuju kebahagiaan "Happy". Dalam blog ini, saya akan menulis konten dengan tema tersebut dan dengan harapan dapat menjadi suatu bacaan yang berguna dan berfaedah untuk anda. Bukankah sebaik baik manusia adalah dia yang bermanfaat bagi sesamanya?!!.
Jaman sekarang orang berlomba lomba untuk tampil lebih, karena ingin di sanjung , diakui, di istimewakan, meskipun pada dasarnya semua manusia sudah istimewa karena diciptakan oleh tuhan. Latas apa yang akan terjadi setelah berhasil memperoleh apa yang di inginkan seperti harta, posisi, jabatan, bahkan cinta sekalipun, apakah bahagia akan datang?.
Kalau kita mengkaji lebih jauh maksud yang tersirat dari semua itu, tentu dan memang adalah kebahagiaan, tapi apa yang terjadi tidaklah demikian.

Pertanyaan yang akan muncul kemudian adalah apakah semua pola pola seperti itu sudah semestinya dan sesuai dengan tuntutan dari suara terdalam dari diri tiap manusia?

Ketika hasrat hasrat dan keinginan telah tercapai, apakah rasa bahagia "happy" telah betul betul dirasakan?

Ataukah yang muncul adalah justru kebanggaan yang berpotensi melahirkan kesombongan dan kerakusan dalam diri kita?, Lantas apa perbedaan antara rasa bangga dan bahagia?

Berbicara masalah manusia dan kehidupan memang sangat kompleks dan luas, tapi dalam blog ini akan penulis akan memcoba memaparkan dari aspek dasar, yaitu pemaknaan kehidupan dari berbagai sudut pandang seperti Agama, Fisikologi, Sains dll.
Anda juga akan mendapatkan tips tips rileksasi dan hidup berkeseimbangan dan harmonis yang sesuai dengan konsep alam, mengingat manusia adalah bahagian dari alam namun terkadang manusia selalu menjalani hidupnya diluar dari jalur atau konsep tersebut, yang juga dikenal dengan fitrah atau ketentuan dari sang pencipta. Tidak heran jika banyak orang yang selalu akrab dengan stres, susah tidur dan banyak lagi penyakit penyakit moderen yang saya kira anda tahu sendiri.
